Appearance: L is said to be about 5 foot, 10 inches and 110 pounds. He has messy black hair and a muscular sort of build. On average, he wears baggy jeans and a plain white t-shirt. L's black eyes are outlined with black to give him a sort of creepy kind of look.

Personality: L's disheveled and languid appearance masks his great powers of deduction and insight. He tends to second-guess everything he is presented with, and is extremely meticulous and analytical. He has several quirks such as preferring to crouch rather than sit, eating only sweet foods like desserts and fruits, and holding items very delicately.

History: Not much is known of L's past, except for his heritage, quarter Japanese, a quarter English, a quarter Russian and... either a quarter French or Italian. He was said to have visited England for five years once. He was the champion for the English Junior Cup.

L is a bit of a liar. An example of which is when he said Light was Kira by a 5 percent chance, when he really meant 90 percent. He usually has his name, L, in the font Old English Five. He is considered the best detective in the world, and also has aliases which are the second and third best detectives in the world. He told the men of the Kira Investigation his name is Ryuzaki, while no one really knows his name is L.

Fears/Faults: Not faults or fears, but more of L's quirks. L has many quirks, such as sitting in an odd manner, snacking on sweets constantly, and holding objects in a peculiar manner.

Anything else: As L is part of the Kira Investigation, L is not too friendly towards Kira. In fact Kira and L could be considered archenemies.

RP Sample: The night kept most sleeping. But someone couldn't sleep. L Lawliet, sometimes known as Ryuzaki, sat in his bed with his knees bent and his butt barely off the blankets. He was holding his knees while thinking hard about his objective. He couldn't kill Kira without knowing if he was really Light or not.

He suspected him of such, but he had no hard core evidence. If he could get Near to his side he would be at more of an advantage. Kira was troubling all of the world. He could kill someone in a moment's notice. His position was very more advanced than the Kira Investigation's. He could've hacked all of the Kira Investigation and found some names. He could wipe out his whole team in minutes.

L finally got to sleep, and woke up the next morning. He woke up and started out as normal. He brushed his teeth, took a shower, did his business, and then got dressed. He walked down the stairs as normal and found a big banner reading Happy Birthday L. He curved around to a table with three types of cake. Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry. The three types L favored.

He licked his lips as he grabbed a plate and sat down to be served. His funky position in the seat made him look a little taller than he was, and his raised position helped him reach farther across the table. He grabbed a fork and started to dig in to his cake. He thought maybe he could take a day off of the investigation. He could just sit down and enjoy his birthday.

Soon L's mind took over his stomach. He had to get back on the case. And now he was faced with something tougher than when he was in his bed. Should he follow his stomach and enjoy his only special day of the year? Or should he go and search for Kira like he always does?

He had to get in contact with Near,so he rushed to the Kira Investigation base. All the Kira Investigation members celebrating stood up and slammed their hands on the table. They seemed to be in shock from L's rush. His arrival at the base shocked more of the men expecting him to be at his own party. His quickly was able to get in contact and started to discuss.

He explained his suspicions of Light Yagami as Kira, and how Light was in the Kira Investigation. He had to go to To-Ou, so he could apply and meet up with Light there. He was confident his skills and need a test. He realized his move was dangerous, but his confidence overwhelmed. If L could use the alias Hideki Ryuga to get in to To-Ou, he could confront Light and find out if his suspicions were true.

A week later, L had gotten a note that showed he was accepted into To-Ou. Now he could see to Light, with his disguise of course. Now he had to worry about Saturday and Sunday. And so L's confrontation would get nearer. And light could be confronted.
